Health in the Municipality – Cavriago

The “Health in the Municipality” initiative, promoted by the Social Projects Committee, a Third Sector body committed to protecting citizens’ rights and well-being, took place on Saturday, June 14, at the Municipality of Cavriago. The day was dedicated to the prevention of breast cancer, a disease that affects over 50,000 women in Italy each year, a full 41% of whom are under 50.

The initiative offered free breast visits aimed in particular at women between 18 and 40 years of age, with the aim of raising awareness among the population of the importance of early diagnosis and prevention, including at a young age.

Numerous citizens participated with interest and gratitude, testifying to the social value of this type of event.

Among the entities that made the project possible, Prospecta had the honor of being among the funding companies and received, along with many others, a plaque of thanks from the organizers. A symbolic, yet significant, recognition for the commitment to public health.

Prospecta has always cared about women’s health and strongly supports concrete prevention initiatives, aware that well-being also comes through access to timely screening and adequate information.
